The Dorchester

Looking across the soft green swathes of Hyde Park, The Dorchester is one of the most desirable places in the world to stay. A luxury Mayfair hotel of great repute, it embodies the highest of traditional values, with spacious rooms and suites of great charm, glorious dining and entertaining, and a spa of exquisite indulgence. For over half a century the hotel has remained a pinnacle of luxury and ease.Superbly located in the heart of London's Mayfair on Park Lane, between Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner, The Dorchester is close to exclusive London shopping in Bond Street and Knightsbridge and is within easy access of many London attractions including Buckingham Palace, West End theatres, the Royal Albert Hall and the National Gallery.250 individually designed spacious rooms and suites, decorated in a rich English Country House style. Each room features specially commissioned fabrics, antique furniture and extremely comfortable beds. The white marble bathrooms have the deepest baths in London. Many Suites interconnect with up to five rooms - a feature un-paralleled in London hotels.

Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - The Dorchester
Mel P., Reading, United Kingdom. January, 2007
"All services 5 star plus from the personal guide from the receptionist who met us. Should however warn future guests who arrive in their own car that congestion charges apply on arrival day as well as departure day which is a LONDON con. As you can drive on and off the hotel forecourt without triggering the charge unless you ask for your car to be parked. Another example of 'Rip-Off-Britain' I am ashamed to admit. This comment will not apply when the zone is enlarged. Our room overlooked Hyde park , was exceptional and at all times my wife and I were made to feel special without being suffocated."
Barry, Glasgow, Scotland. January, 2006
"Very comfortable with great service and great food. The standard of service at meal times was exceptional as were the waiters/waitresses attires."
